Teachers and parents can learn to keep themselves safe by staying informed and developing good online habits.
To support our students, Norwalk-La Mirada USD is partnering with Common Sense Media to provide our schools with a FREE Digital Literacy and online safety curriculum. The curriculum consists lesson plans, student handouts, videos, interactive components, and parent-outreach resources that span grades K-12 and cover online safety, digital citizenship, copyright, and information literacy. These lessons are Informed by research from Howard Gardner’s Good Play Project at Harvard and aligned to ISTE, AASL, and ELA California State Standards.
